Generally guitarists prefer the classic 6cm strap or the new wide and comfortable 8cm strap.

Bassists prefer 10cm straps cause their heavy instruments.
All Frame straps are made in 4 leather layers, the upper layer is narrower than the bottom layers, so you can look at something like a "frame" around . Of course they are thick about 6/8mm and very comfortable and softer than Double Leather series straps.
